Taft Apartment Corporation

l moved in this building 2 years ago. apon looking at the apartment located at 2922 nostrand ave, i was told that it was a great building and that no one ever moves out because it was so great. it looked good and we took it. three months after we moved in we started to get mice and roaches. we asked for an exterminator. we never got one. two months after that water started coming from the ceiling in the bathroom. it took them two months to fix it, and still no exterminator. then water started comming from the top on the windows in the bedroom everytime it rained. never ever got fixed. now we have mice, roaches, bedbugs and water still comming in every time it rains. my apt is falling apart and no one wants to fix. taft apt corp tells us that it is strand hills problem and strand hill tolld us that it is taft apt. problem. they are bothe owned by a isaac shwortz. well they are, but they are 2 different people with the same name. there are at least 5 other apts that are going through the same problems with water damage and every apt needs and exterminator. they give you the run-a-round and nothing gets done. i even took them to court. but because there is two different isaac shwortz. the court did nothing but give you an abaitment and keeps you in court for a year then orders you to pay all money owed and nothing gets fixed. you are stuck in a apt that is falling apart and you have water comming and you have mice, roaches,and bedbugs. and if you have children, the dont care. you are stuck and you have lost. do not move into this building. if you do you will feel sorry, you will be stuck with no money to move and then they put you on a black list so that no real estate will help you to get another apt. when you look at an apt your credit report is checked and strand hill associates has black listed you so now you dont have a place to live. they have had many violations on this building, but some how they keep getting dismissed or resolved, but the violations are still there. DO NOT GO TO LOOK AT AN APARTMENT AT 2922 NOSTRAND AVE, BROOKLYN NY 11229!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU DO.the apt looks great when you go look at it. but please belive me that they did patch jobs to make it look nice and befor you know it you move in and everything starts to fall apart and you start rooming with mice and bugs and if you live in the front of the building you will ger water in your apt every time it rains.
