Tacos Matamoros

The Carnitas Burrito is smaller, more expensive and not as good as Chipotle's. That doesn't speak very highly of an "authentic" Mexican place. Go to Tacos El Bronco on 44st and 4th Ave instead.

Went there with my family for lunch and it was horrible from the beginning! My husband asked where the bathroom was and the lady just pointed to a corner without saying a word, my husband had to find it on his own. We waited close to an hour to receive our food and it all tasted bland. No flavor, not cooked properly, waitress had no clue who ordered what. I had the torta and it was super dry! My brother has the steak, ordered medium and received extra well done. This place was a complete disappointment. When we were ready to pay we told the waitress to split the bill (multiple families) she got mad at us and said "why didn't you tell me in the beginning, and stormed away from us. She comes back and tells us she can't split the check and we need to pay as is. Never going back ever! Definitely don't recommend. Over priced and garage service! Save yourself!

I went there with my boyfriend and two friends ordered a torta and hellooooo who gives a torta sandwich with out. Mayonnaise and with out avocado .. -_- the worst and the waitress just took our order and never came back Wtf really no mayonnaise !!! Wow lazy work lousy service. And it wasn't even busy for waitress not to come back smh ... Used to be a good rest with good service but now just horrible has gone from bad to worse smfh !!!!

I used to love this place now it's going down the drain , and the prices of course keep going up. I ordered bistec quesadilla , and guess what I get. I get a fried tortilla with a huge amount of lettuce radish sour cream and a few sprinkles of cheese on top. And what was inside the fried tortilla... Meat that's it meat no cheese at all. The meat was tasteless and dry . How do u call a quesadilla without cheese. And my 3 other friends ordered tortas, all of the same type and only one came with guacamole, the other two came without guacamole and the tortas had no mayonnaise and one paper thin slice of cheese. And the waitress was so unfriendly while taking our order , she didn't even come to check up on us also.
