Robotic mitral valve repair with Dr Guy was excellent and I walked out with a perfect repair with zero regurgitation. One week after surgery I could piggyback a toddler, which is proof of how fine a job was done. From the first administration to the final check out by the nurses, the whole process was impeccable, and the surgery was an utter success. Dr Guy was engaging and refreshingly down to earth, free of the self-impressed elitism of so many Manhattan doctors. The whole team, moreover, was faultless. As was the hospital.

I was recently was diagnosed with serious mitral valve regurgitation and was lucky enough that Dr Guy had just been recruited to New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Hospital. All aspects of the surgical repair starting with the diagnosis and careful explanations, the pre-surgical evaluation, the procedure itself and the ensuing post-operative care were truly superlative. The statistics tell only a fraction of the story - home within 48 hrs of waking up and back at work full time within 10 days. If you are unlucky enough to need his services in my limited experience I do not think you could find better care.
