So I walked into the store this afternoon to purchase a phone, I was approach by a sale associate ( name Anthony) . I told him I wanted to purchase a HTC phone. I asked Anthony if I was able see a working,operable model, since the one on display was non functional.I wanted to see the features, and what I would get for my money.
To my surprise and dismay, I was informed by Anthony that he couldn't provide me with a working phone,only the one that was on display was available ,which was NOT working!!.
Anthony further told me that he would show me a working HTC phone if I purchase it. Once again I told him all I wanted was to see the features before buying it. Anthony told me the only way I could see a working HTC phone was if I purchase it, I asked him, what if I don't like it, can I return it.
His reply stunned me " sure you can return it, there will be a fifty dollars restocking fee"
How unprofessional and rude, not really sure if this the policy of the store or just a incompetent sale associate. Either way I was totally disappointed .
