I wish I could give this NO stars, DO NOT TRUST!!!! Extremely false advertising. My rates went from .095 KWH to .275 in Feb bill. A few days before I got an email stating they were raising their rates, but I had no time to even switch companies. My bill went from $297 to $786. When I called them they were incredibly rude and would not give me the owners name without persistence. He said the boss was out. Then I brought up the class act lawsuits that were being petitioned and he brushed it off and said "Go ahead, waste your money.". I am on a fixed income and can't afford this. Unfortunately we have to stay with these criminals another month before they will switch us. This is highway robbery and these people should be in federal prison. They apparently have NO morals or standards. STAY AWAY. Theft By Deception would be a good start for these money-grubbing tools.

Before choosing Systrum I read some really positive reviews from people and choose Systrum expecting to get highly competitive electric rates so it was a real disappointment being over charged for my electricity. Even after trying to call no answer or email no response for a few weeks.. I finally got an email saying that I was being switch back to my electricity service provider but not before being changed 28 cents per kilowatt hour for the month of January resulting in an electric bill 2 1/2 times higher than normal. From the other reviews I've read it sounds like they won't have many customers with the questionable way they do business. It a real shame that honest hard working people have to be ripped off like this and there is not a thing that can be done!

I would never go with systrum they doubled my bill in january. i wouldnt have given it any stars. this is a scam like price gauging. we called and they gave us an excuse that the demand was high. We live in new jersey and i would say 99% of the households.

Same here. Go charged. 0.28 cents per KWH. That's ridiculous. I tried calling them and there is no one to pickup the phones. You can only leave a VM. I am going to try to email them and see what kind of response I get. Did anyone email them asking to lower the charges?

Scandal...their electricity rates TRIPLED in Jan '14. Do not allow your rates to float with an electricity provider...always lock-in the rate. I just moved to another electricity provider with a 12 month lock @ $0.0969 / KWH with no cancellation fees. Systrum's electricity rates "came down" to ~ $0.20 per KWH in Feb '14. This is an outage.
