Sushi was fine, quite good though pricey. The service was bothersome. Very snobby, looked bothered when we asked any questions, and were complaining that our clothes were wet (it was raining pretty heavily outside). The woman who greeted us was super friendly though, and they were really on point with filling our waters.

Very much disapponted! You get nothing for 50 dollar/person. The price will remind you its location. don't get fooled by its shabby entrence. I think it's designed for billionaire who is too hungry to walk any further. Find somewhere else if you can make it.

Ok, we came here after being told by Haru down the street that we could have a table for only 45 minutes (the place was empty, seriously). The food was excellent. Fresh and flavorful. The ambiance was nice, quiet and subdued. Dessert was amazing. The apple sorbet was the best sorbet I ever tasted. All in all a great experience. Should have just gone here first.

I was very disappointed. Our waiter seemed aggravated that we would bother to ask questions about the menu. The sushi was ok, but everything was way overpriced. We tried the duck sushi, summer roll and eel roll. One in our party was vegetarian and had a $25 platter that was nothing more than a pat of rice with asparagus wrapped on top. We definitely won't be back. My suggestion is to find more innovative sushi choices with better prices.

Fantastic sushi. Great experience sitting at the bar watching everything being prepared. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended. Will visit again next time we are in NYC.
