Sushi Metsuyan

Think before you go, food is great when it comes out right. 9 out 10 times you walk out with the wrong order. Always an issue and they don't even bother rectifying the issue. Have no care in the world to satisfy the customer. I guess I should have just pre-made sushi I would know exactly what I'm getting. Been going there from the day they open many moons ago and always forget about the service. Well this time is the last time.

Been coming here for 5 years. The food quality is always good, and tastes consistent. They also have good inexpensive lunch specials. They used to have awful service, extremely unhelpful staff (like they wouldn't combine two two-person tables for 4 people, um why on Earth wouldn't a restaurant do this?) that was outright rude at times. But they have hired new people and seem to be much better in that area. They can still be a bit slow and absent-minded, but overall, this is a great place to meet up for lunch.

Great food. Great price. Great service. Small though.

STAY AWAY. I have been a kosher resteraunt hound for 25 years. Once upon a time you could eat at Sushi Metsuyan. Those days are long gone -- their current sushi is neither fresh nor from wild salmon. It took me three bad trips to come to terms with how unethical these guys are. I recently warned someone against using their food for a holiday meal. Sure enough she spent $200 and her guests would not eat it because it tasted funny. $200 down and a ruined holiday meal -- Sushi Metsuyan refused a refund and offered her a lunch coupon instead. That's how bad resteraunts treat customers. If you cannot tell good sushi from bad, or wild salmon from farmed salmon, Sushi Metsuyan is your place.

Greeted sweetly by the girls running this establishment. Very clean and pretty busy when I went in on 6/14 @ 2pm...haven't eaten yet but got to see my spicy tuna roll and vietnamese spring rolls and they look great! Might quickly become a lunch fav for me!
