i lost my fiance with a brain cancer a month ago, now i finally had time to take care of my own health issue, they gave me hard time to do so.
when they call me a day before for confirmation, i explained that id be going by myself by uber and have my friend pick me up. upon arrival at 6:30am, they said they need to talk to this friend on the phone to confirm which they didnt mention previously. its 6:30 and my friend couldnt pick up calls and they cancelled it. when i had another surgery in different place, they just took number of the person picking me up and it was done.
People going this kind of service are probably already having a hard time. its a very generous practice to give even harder time to patients.
