SuperShuttle

Currently waiting on my shuttle to JFK.....45 mins late so far, with no call or update from the company or driver. At this point I'm just going to get an Uber car.

You definitely get what you pay for !!
On arrival at Newark welcome desk, we were given a number and told to wait as the driver would be with us shortly. Over 30 minutes later we were still waiting and when this was queried, we were asked if we had perhaps missed the announcement of our number. On being told that this was not in any way possible, they admitted that the wrong number had been shouted. As we are not psychic, we had been marked as a "no show" and the driver had left !!
A replacement took another hour and after a total of 1 3/4 hours hanging about Newark, we were directed to a small, tatty bus which was virtually full already. Squashed in, it was an uncomfortable introduction to New York.
Hoping this was a one off, unfortunately we suffered more half truths and poor service on the way back. Our pick up was an hour late, we were told we were the last pick up when in actual fact there were another 3 after us, it was an unfortunate goodbye to New York.
Supershuttle was the only negative of the whole trip and I would advise looking elsewhere for this service.

I use to take NYC airporter, but this time I decided to give super shuttle a try. Worst experience ever!!! One hour waiting for our Van to go from JFK to downtown Manhattan. When the Van arrive there was not space for our luggage, so we had to wait another 15 minutes (we indicated the number on bags when we did the reservation). On our trip back the Van arrives 45 minute late and even our destination was JFK the van went for table to La guardia and then to JFK... I wish I would have trust the reviews.

If I could give Super Shuttle minus 5 stars I would- that's how awful the service was! I'll admit, the shuttle from Newark Airport to the Upper West Side was not that bad. I landed in Newark at 2pm and was told by a welcome agent that my shuttle would not arrive until 3pm. It arrived on time and the driver was friendly. He got me to my destination by 4:30pm (and this was was NYC traffic!).

The trip back to Newark, however, was the worst experience I ever had! I was confirmed for a 4am pick-up but a dispatcher called me at 3am to inform me that the shuttle wouldn't arrive until 4:20am. 4:20am then changed to 4:48am. Mind you I had a 7am flight that was boarding at 6:30am!!! The driver called me at 4:50am claiming he was "minutes away." He didn't arrive until about 5:15am! To make up for lost time, the driver drove recklessly throughout NYC all the while fidgeting with that tablet. I arrived to Newark at 5:35 am. The driver didn't even help me in and out of the van (I bumped my head twice!). He was also rude to the other passengers. I damn near missed my flight and will never ever ever use this service again! You've been warned: if you want to miss your flight, then by all means use this service. Otherwise, a taxi or Uber is the better option.

A very fast, inexpensive, mode of transportation to and from the airport.

I have read many reviews of the SuperShuttle and we were almost not going to use it; but decided to give it a try anyway. We were very pleased with the result. The service was very professional, modern, courteous, and punctual. We even received emails on status and location. The timing was perfect; we had no problem with arrival or departure. I would give this service five stars.
