Super Suds Laundromat

Now I constantly come here because I live just a block away. It's clean and spacious with plenty of machines. I never had an issue with putting my clothes in right away, but the staff is just horrible. Rude, inconsiderate, and they make me feel extremely uncomfortable. It's honestly mainly just one guy in particular. So tell me how last night I walk in the building with my boyfriend and put in my laundry by 9:00 pm. Mind you, the sign says the last wash is at 9:30 pm. NINE THIRTY PM. So why is it that I am getting deathstares and rude comments from I guess the "janitor" of the establishment? The guy who mops the floors who doesn't have a hard tedious job whatsoever. Because he wants to rush out of there and leave? We were in the middle of folding laundry and he kept asking us if we were done yet, and continuously kept staring right at us 7 feet away, as if that would make us go any faster. In fact, I stopped folding because I felt so uncomfortable and proceeded to lay down on their side seats as I felt his eyes glare at me from a distance. AIND THEN he told us that he is setting the alarm soon in the nastiest tone of voice, which I don't know what good that would do but my boyfriend kept the pace that we were previously at before. My boyfriend made a comment saying "good thing we didn't come any later" and I went ahead and blurted out "yeah i dont know what this guy wouldve done is someone else came in at 9:25, if this is how he acts when people come in 30 minutes before last wash" I know the door has had a sign up saying help wanted for the longest time, but you really need to just get new staff all together. Prior to this, I would catch this dude always staring at me and making me uncomfortable too. I"ve talked to multiple people who also come to this laundromat and say they get uncomfortable experiences as well because of this guy, but obviously since I'm not in charge of this place I have no control. I guess if the job gets done, it gets done and this type of business doesn't need costumer satisfactory like a restaurant or convenience store but it would just feel nice to not get stared down every time I decide to do laundry during the late evening.

I been coming to this Laundromat for years. It's clean and love doing my laundry there.

One of the best laundromats in this part of Essex. This includes Montclair, Bloomfield, and West Orange. Nobody likes laundromats to begin with but this one is pretty good, probably the only thing is that it is a little pricey compared to others.

I have been coming here for years, sorry to hear other people had issues there..... but I will lean towards some of it being their fault because no matter who you are, u just can't please some people and then they have to blame someone other than themselves for their shortcomings. Its a great laundry center.
