My first visit here. My father's urologist just moved to this office and the staff is so unpleasant and the wait time is ridiculous. Needless to say we will have to find a new doctor because I refuse to put up with rudeness.

I was born here and so were my brothers and both of my children will be born here I love the service I love the doctors and even the students the maternity ward is comfortable and the doctors and nurses are cool and even the baby doctors are awesome they really care about your kid and you

I have had experiences with 3 different hospitals and I personally do not care what no one say Suny Downstate is the best, i will agree that there are a couple staff members who works there who need more training in learning to deal with patience because i have seen them in action, but personally i never had any problems with any of them. to be blunt God used the Doctors, Nurses and staffs at Downstate to save my life when i had originally gone to another more famous hospital that never to forget night on July 6,2002 send me home in severe abdominal pain to go see my GYN without running or doing any test. oh they did give me Motrin. only to finally make it to my GYN who did a sonogram at the time and said i need to go to the ER Urgently, i went to Downstate for the first time and they Had to do an emergency surgery to save my life because of the other Hospital negligence my Colon Burst, and i had to have many, many surgeries after that day and all Downstate, so to all listening, this facility by the grace of God will remain open.......

It was my first time at Downstate Medical Center and it was the worst experience of my life. I will never go there again. When I made the appointment, the receptionist never told me the name of the doctor or which clinic to go to. The receptionists and the security were very rude and insulting to me. It was the most humiliating experience of my life. It clearly is the worst medical facility in Brooklyn.
