I had been a customer of Sunset Tans in the Ironbound section of Newark NJ for the past 3 yrs. It was just recently I happen to meet the owner who is one of the worst business owner, from a perspective of having a serious lack of people skills. I had sessions left from one package of the two packages I had purchased and had only used 2 of the other package, which had a total of 4 sessions. During my last visit, the employee confirmed this information and suggested I speak to whoever is working that day to explain I had 2 sessions left on the package which had expired about 1 week ago. So maybe I could at least use 1 of the 2 sessions I had left. (My other package which expired in 10/2015 had 1 session left) When I went back, today 7/03/15 the owner began shaking her head no as soon as I was attempting to explain. She began speaking over me. She refused to listen to me. I finally had to point out that she was speaking over me andnot allowing me to tell her about what her employee had confirmed with me. She then went to her computer, whispered a conversation to the other employee and told me I had absolutely no sessions left with a lack of eye contact and with a matter of face attitude. Not even from my other package I had purchased (those sessions did not expire until 10/205). She then said “What, you want a free tan?” She had the worst disposition and was simply not a nice person. Barely apologized and came across as being, just simply ignorant. She, of course has lost a customer and BBB will be contacted. Signed Victim of Poor Business Practices.

GREAT PLACE WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE! EVERYONE is great in there tanning beds are super clean and the facials are amazing Jenn does a great job. keep up the good job jen and hope to see you every month for my facial. IF ANYONE WANTS GREAT SKIN OR GREAT FACIALS DONT HESITATE TO CALL FOR AN APPOINTMENT. I LOVE THEIR SERVICE AND PLACE. :)) ALWAYS A SATISFIED CUSTOMER AFTER MY APPOINTMENTS

LOVE THIS PLACE! Highly recommend the facials.. The staff is very professional and the place is very CLEAN and MODERN.... Ive tried a few others and no one can measure up.. No dought that this Salon is my favorite for tanning and facials..

Visited there today and had a great experience! state of the art machines, great customer service and nice colouration! definately making this my regular tanning spot! 10/10!
