I've never seen a bad show at City Winery, I'll start with that. The sound and lights are first rate and the decor is nice (lots of exposed wood beams, with a bit of an industrial feel). The down side of this place is that a venue doesn't make it's money on music acts, they make it on the food and how many people they can cram into the place - so that they can sell them a $9 beer and a $10 plate of hummus.

As for seating. If you sit on the sides you'll have a hard time seeing the drummer or any band members that aren't up front. If you're a short person I can see the front seats being an issue. You're packed pretty tight and if there are taller people sitting up from you may have an issue.

I've always found the wait staff to be very good and I love that their website allows you to pick your exact seat.

the sandwiches are prepared exceptionally quickly and always have the flavor im looking for . i like the italian bmt with provolone toasted and they do it just right. they have all the flavor sauces you could want and let you put anything you want on your sandwich. the bad part is they dont have bathrooms

Came here often, until I bit into a grasshopper!!! REALLY makes you wonder what else you're eating from a restaurant chain who gets their "fresh" ingredients en-mass and on the cheap. Yes, a grasshopper. In fact, it was a complete grasshopper carcass. The most surprising thing was that I told them (nearly yelled) what happened, demanded my money back, and they just said OK. As if they weren't surprised??
