I was a little skeptical of the sport, Jiu Jitsu, prior to contacting this facility, as a beginner I didn't want to walk into a gym as a pure white be the new punching bag. This was not the case. From my first phone call with Prof Marcos I could tell it was a laid back, positive environment and it turned out to be a place of camradery and positive feelings all over. If I had a nickle for every tip someone gave me when I rolled, i.e. sparred, I'd be a pretty wealthy dude. A great place to come learn the crazy art form of Jiu Jitsu. Couldn't recommend it enough.

A superb school where you will grow, learn, train hard and gain knowledge on how to build up a better SELF. Marcos & Abe offer an environment that is conducive to learning both the most complex and the most basic techniques of the gentle art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. No need for gender bias, or "meatheads," this is a place to train with both men and women, of all ages and sizes. A place where everyone respectfully learns from and trains with each other. These two professors are Showing The Art effectively! An epitome of how a martial arts school should be run. Keep up the amazing work!

My 10 year old son started jujitsu 2 months ago. This is a great place, the environment is very friendly and welcoming, the most important thing is the teachers, professional, serious and easy-going at the same time.
The best sport place for kid to build confidence character and discipline.

Amazing instructors! Marcos and Abe are amazing my son Max A. Besserer worked with them for 2 years with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu using traditional and new age techniques. Max is a sponsored Athlete with Gameness Fightwear and you can view him on Facebook. The facility is clean and very friendly very family orientated. We would still be training with them only we have moved to Virginia. I would recommend them to anyone in the State of New Jersey. We will never forget our roots and who trained Max to make him who he is.

Great environment to train VERY supportive. Ladies you will get comfortable quickly training with men because we have a wonderful group of male training partners and EXCELLENT instruction. Can't leave out our TOP bjj ladies who are fabulous.
