Love this place! Nelly from Studio 12 gets my cut just the way I like it. I always leave there feeling like a million bucks. Great atmosphere, convenient location, good music and great conversation. As long as I live in the New York and New Jersey area, I will continue to go see Nelly at Studio 12.

I have been going to the owner Nelly for over 5 years even though I have moved over an hour away from Hoboken. My blonde highlights look so good that everyone thinks it is natural, probably because Nelly is a master at weaving in the foil highlights.
Her sister, Alicia, has done an updo for me before and it was incredible. She payed attention to the natural texture and movement of my hair so the updo looked effortless and stayed put for 10+ hours.
I have reccommended many friends to this salon and they all share the same feelings.

I am extremely picky - and I think Mary Michaels does a really good job (at least for cuts, highlights, manicure and pedicures). Plus they are affordable, I believe it was only $120 for a cut and highlight and I have very long hair! Before that, the cheapest I could find was $180...
