I feel so lucky to have discovered Neta's class about three years ago. Since then, I never miss my weekly class and would go more than once a week if I could! It is a small class setting with A LOT of personal attention which was great for me as I experience back tightness and other small issues. I became so much more aware of my body and learned not to be judgmental about it. I would recommend Studio Spine to anyone from the beginners to someone who wants to deepen his or her practice.

I cannot say enough good things about Neta Katz and her classes at Studio Spine! The studio is bright and sunny and the cleanest I have ever seen in NYC! The classes are small and everyone receives a lot of personal attention in a very supportive environment. Neta is a wise and intuitive teacher of Iyengar yoga!

Cannot give this place enough stars. It's a beautiful space with the best yoga teachers I have found in NYC (and I have searched!) No wasted time --
Small classes, attention to detail, personal attention.

Studio Spine is my favorite yoga studio in NYC and one of the best Iyengar studios where I've ever taken classes. The teachers, Neta and Lucien, are not only experienced Iyengar practitioners and teachers, but their caring, attentive style makes you feel like you are getting a private lesson every time you go. The energy is great in the room, which is clean and sunlit. The props and mats are all clean and well maintained. Studio Spine is a gem!

I tried about 9 different studios in NYC and NJ in my quest to begin a yoga practice, and at Studio Spine I finally found my yoga Home. Neta Katz provides the best instruction I have ever experienced - she is an exceptional teacher in the broadest sense, not just in comparison to other yoga instructors. I have learned so much about my body, and made a great deal of progress in understanding yoga, learning asanas, relieving pain, reducing stress, and increasing flexibility. The improvements I have made through yoga study at Studio Spine have spilled over into all aspects of my physical and mental wellness. I look forward to every class.
