Studio A Images

Adena of Studio A Images has been one of the best parts of our wedding planning process so far. She promptly responded to my inquiry about her photography services months ago, met with my fiance and I in Manhattan and was there before we arrived (and we were early). I was worried about paying a lot of money for photos but as a fellow artist, I saw the quality in Adena's work and knew it would be worth it.

She included an engagement photo shoot with her wedding photography package and contacted me the week before to see if we wanted to change our scheduled date because it looked like rain that day. We did switch the shoot date and the weather was gorgeous on the day we changed to. My fiance and I had a fantastic afternoon running around the city with Adena while she shot us in several different locations. Our engagement photos came out so wonderfully, I can barely believe it.

Adena is so friendly, organized, prompt and talented that I know one thing I won't be worrying about on the day of our wedding will be the photography coverage.

Adena was a crucial part of my wedding day. She captured images that I will treasure forever while dealing with my crazy family.

The process before and after the wedding was a dream. She answered all my (stupid) questions and made me feel like her top priority.

As soon as I she came into our planning process, my life became less stressful.

I am so grateful that she was part of my wedding and I consider her a friend going forward.

Choosing Studio A Images, home of photographer Adena Stevens, was among the best decisions we made for our May 2011 wedding. Adena was kind enough to meet with us twice before the wedding to go over every detail - where we would be shooting, what kind of images we most wanted to see, the dynamics of our wedding party, the timeline for the reception, etc. She was professional in every sense of the word, taking detailed notes and responding to e-mails promptly. She even made a special trip to a nearby historical site and arranged for us to use their grounds the day of the wedding for our bride and groom portraits.

One of the challenges we faced was photographing a large wedding party (14 bridesmaids!) and coping with my lineage of photographers who came to the wedding with a critical eye. Adena was a powerhouse on both fronts. She managed to capture all of the family portraits and focus on the plans we made, without being derailed by my very creative (and forceful!) family.

The images are stunning. Intimate. Thoughtful. Unique.
