Great service honest people brought in my car to check brakes heard weird noises driving, my brakes ended up being fine but the point is I told them whatever had to be done DO IT! And they refused to sell me something I didn't need thanks Sts! It Really is a TRUST thing!

Beware of their scam.
I took my car to STS Tire & Auto yesterday to get three tires I had mounted because they were open on Sunday. When my car was returned, the "check engine" lite was on. This was not the case when I brought the car in. Something that happened inside the STS shop set off my "check engine" light.
The manager said that the technician documented that the "check engine" light was on when I brought in the car. This was not accurate. Not having any recourse other than to be charged additional diagnostic expenses, I started to leave.
When I entered my car the second time, I noticed that the clock incorrectly read 12:22. Obviously 22 minutes ago, when the car was inside the STS shop, something happened to the car to manipulate the computer "check engine" light and reset the clock to 12:00. When I brought this to the manager's attention he had no explanation why the clock and computer would have been reset during a routine tire installation. He just stated that it could not have been something the technician did.
I really think I was getting scammed to get them to do a diagnostic and repair that wasn't needed.

I love going to STS in Union. The customer service is outstanding and the prices are reasonable. Both agents were very friendly and personable. I would recommend others to go to them.

I went to check my ABS light on. They told me they will charge me $117 just to look at the car. So I question can you fix it? they said yes. So I said let's do it. They spent 1 hour to tell me it was just a speed sensor, it will be around $350. I asked them if they can fix it the same day and they said yes. After two hours they told me the sensor was frozen and they could not remove without breaking some parts, then I will also need to replace those parts taking the cost to $700+, just to replace a sensor and will take another couple of hours. They literally told me I will be better off taking the car to the dealer. A full set of mechanics, all the equipment in the world, 3 hours and they could not remove a sensor and they still insisted in charge me the $117 for the diagnosis what a steal!!! I am going to report this to the better business bureau.
