Stillman Management

If you are moving into a building with Stillman management as the management company THINK AGAIN. One of the driving factors for us to move out and buy a home was to get away from this terrible company. If Angela Salvatore is your agent please be aware that she is impossible to get a hold of, never answers emails and neither does her assistant. Dozens of phone calls and emails over three weeks simply to arrange moving out went unanswered, no reply, nothing. Our building lost heat in the building for 5 days during the winter of 2014 due to a botched oil to natural gas conversion. No one answered the phone, no one called us and let us know what was going on or when it would be fixed. No one answered the EMERGENCY line. My wife and I were in our late 20's so we weathered the very low temperatures (we could see our breath in the apartment) but there is a large percentage of elderly people in the building. This was a very dangerous situation for them. We made the decision to buy some space heaters for a few apartments of elderly (90+) on our floor. They could not go out in the snow to get them. Stillman was NO WHERE to be found, we ended up contacting local politicians to do something about this. After the heat was turned on the building received a kurt and emotionless letter from Stillman. They need to be investigated.

they rented an apt to me with no paint job or repairs, when I complain they said that I took the apt as is , and stated that they would not do any repairs now I am force to fix the apt myself , they also spoke to me in a disrespectful way . I gave them $1800.00 dollars for the apt , they have money to fix their office but they don't do repairs in the apts this is totally wrong, they are very corrupt.

The representatives at Stillman are rude, inefficient, and incompetent. I was happy to move out of the complex I lived in because the board there wouldn't drop this terrible company. Reps either ignore your emails/requests or take several emails/calls to respond- and then they're unpleasant at best and extremely unhelpful. Robin was the worst of the worst rep and got fired from our complex and another local co-op complex. Made living at my home stressful and her boss (Robert Stillman) defended her rudeness and incompetence - awful business people. You've gotta be out of your mind to hire this company seeing all of the terrible reviews.

Their condo work is terrible. Like a leech you couldn't get rid of. Only thing they like about real estate is charging management fees. Don't expect them to be competent in capital repairs, engaging tenants in idea generation, or fixing water issues. Stillman is the worst. Stay away...

I'm not sure who Hillary is, but she definitely must have been paid to write that review. There is a parking lot right outside my apartment that I had been using for the past year and Isabelle Williams was the woman I was FORCED to work with. Not only was this parking lot absurdly overpriced but Isabelle is the most unhelpful and rude person in the world. I am happily parking elsewhere because it means I no longer have to work with Stillman Management. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST.
