Just had a class with Stella today at the Stilclay Studio, and I only have great things to say about the experience.
A couple of tips about finding the studio (since it can get quite complicated)...
1. There are two elevators in the 67 Warehouse, elevators A and B
A: takes you to floors 1-5
B: takes your to 6-7
In order to get to the 6th floor (601), you will have to find elevator B which is in the desolate alley way, through the second set of glass doors.
If there isnt someone there to help card the elevator, you will not be able to hit your desired floor.
Here, you might have to call Stella's number to see if she can buzz you up .
2. If the elevator fails, you can take the staircase.
The staircase is immediately right of the main entrance.
Prepared to get a bit of cardio in for you will need to climb 6 small flights of stairs.
The stair case will only bring you to the 5th floor, and from there you will need to enter the 5th floor, go through the 5th floor and magically find the corridor that will lead you to a outdoor walk way that will lead you to the 6th floor.
Hopefully, this helps!
Stella is a great instructor as she is a true artist to her core, and will bring in a bit of history about clay, how it was used, etc. And will proceed with a demonstration. What made the class so enjoyable was her great energy, sense of humor and laid back demeanor, and of course Elvis!
