Dr. Goodman is by far the best dentist I have ever worked with. After two different dentists had done really poor dental work on my teeth, finding Dr. Goodman was huge relief. Immediately it was apparent that he is knowledgeable and I could trust him. He replaced my front tooth crown, which is nearly impossible to make look natural but he exceeded my expectations. He certainly has that added “finesse” a dentist needs to make things look polished. He put the required amount of time and thought into doing the crown correctly which I am very grateful for as it is my front tooth. My smile looks the best it has in years! He does not over-promise and under deliver. If I requested something unrealistic, he would explain in detail why it could not/should not be done which I appreciated. I am not an easy customer to satisfy, and he was very patient with me. All in all, he has replaced two of my crowns and helped me deal with a severe case of TMJ. He has a lovely bedside manner and I feel very comfortable in the office. I truthfully look forward to seeing him. The entire staff is friendly and efficient and all of my paperwork/insurance information is handled with no hassle. I have recently moved to NJ and still drive to Staten Island to see him. You will not be disappointed with Dr. Goodman.

I was in from out of the area and went in for a filling. Dr. Goodman and staff were very polite and knowledgable. Turned out Dr. Goodman saved me from paying for a filling I didn't need. Dr. Goodman explained what I viewed and educated me on a solution. If I end up moving to NY, Dr. Goodman will be my dentist.

Doctor Goodman was found by me as an emergency measure to remove my erupted wisdom tooth. I was very nervous and worried about this procedure, as i am very scared to remove the tooth as it is, but also i was on consultation with Staten Island Oral Surgery clinic where doctor told me that my wisdom tooth needs to be removed under general anesthesia and that the case is very complex that i don't want to be up for this procedure because this will be very horrible.. i was so scared that i never came back there.. waited almost another year till seeking help..
When i was searching for the dentist it was very important to me that Doctor would listen to my fears and treat me as a human being not as a piece of meat who he needs to put to sleep so he is not bothered with my reaction.. also with staten island oral surgery they were talking thousands and thousands of dollars for process or extraction and plus anesthesia that is not covered by insurance..
when i have found Dr. Goodman he had seen me very next day when he had available evening hours that is very convenient for people who work in a city; also he put me at ease, he and his staff patiently answered all my fears and concerns; he assured me that he would be very gentle and i won't feel a thing and he didn't paint me all horror pictures as the other doctor did, yet he honestly told me every step of the way that he was planning to do but in such reassuring way .. when the procedure was done i was in disbelief.. i asked them if they are sure if it is already done.. with that said, i am still in recovery after my surgical extraction, today is first day.. i don't know how it will heal but i really liked Dr. Goodman approach, professionalism and patience of all his office staff with me. I was late evening appointment and they were all very pleasant and didn't seam to mind my questions and fears at all.. i was new to them but they made me feel like i was existing patient!! i can only say Thank you, and recommend this doctor to anyone who has fears or who have had bad experience with other professionals who only scared the patients away..
