Steve Garrigan's Body Elite

let me just say this first: i hate going to the gym. but having had two TTT ops (in a nutshell, surgery to reposition my kneecaps), and a lifetime career of touring and spending most of the year in hotels, i needed help. steve has given me a routine that i can take on the road, and dare i say it out loud, even made it kind of fun. he's exceptionally knowledgable on the human anatomy, and tailored my regime to me. thanks steve!

I had a knee injury and Steve recommended some exercises that really helped the pain go away quickly, and he helped me see how I could avoid re-injuring that in the future. His approach is great—not just getting more fit, but also correcting the things I did that led to the injury int the first place. He really looks at your movement and works out how you can improve your motion habits. And he's a great, easy-going guy to work out with. I highly recommend him!

Steve's targeted workouts and routines consist of easy-to-perform, super-effective, focused movements. He listens to and takes consideration of previous and existing injuries and conditions, and encompasses training that will support those injuries/conditions in addition to managing overall fitness. I love that his routines kick your butt without leaving you so sore that it takes days to recover from the workout. I've had trainers that pushed me over my limit so that it would be 4 or 5 days before I could work that muscle group again. Steve is not one of those trainers: He pushes you to the limit without sending you over the edge. As a result, with him I reached my goals faster and look forward to my routines. By far, Steve is the most effective trainer I've ever worked with - I LOVE training with him! I also enjoy the privacy of his studio and sessions - super clean, great space in a very pretty building.
