Have been going to Stella's for about 20 years and the food is always consistently excellent. The veal dishes are especially good. My favorite is the Veal Sorrentino with eggplant. As soon as you sit down they give you a basket of hot seasoned pizza bread, delicious. The pasta and grilled vegetables are very good. Has a nice cozy atmosphere and warm, friendly staff and family members.

Had a birthday party for three people for a party of eight. The salad was very good. The baked clams and mushrooms were ok. The bread was stale and tomato and mozz was not like any other one that I have had.
Four people had fish dishes and there was no taste and dry. The chicken dishes were ok. The wait staff never smiled.

Food was average but service was not. We were not regulars and treated that way. It was disappointing after hearing so much about it. Won't go back.
