It is Thea most convenient way to go to the status of liberty and the way there is nice. You can have a good view of the city.
The wait is long though.

Very crowded and the people at the security check are not really friendly but the rest was perfect. Reasonable prices and a good view are included.

STATUE CRUISES :EVEN IF YOU BUY TICKETS ON LINE U STILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR 2 HOURS INLINE !!! THEN I ARRIVED AT THE TICKET COUNTER TO FIND OUT THAT THE BOAT IS NOT GOING TO ELLIS ISLAND !!! RIP OFF SAME PRICE W/OUT ELLIS ISLAND SHOUD THEY HAVE HAD A SIGN ALONG THE LINE SOME OF US WOULD HAVE CHANGE PLANS... MISSLEASING RIPP OFF NEVER AGAIN NEVER SUGGEST IT EITHER !!!

The WORST line management ever. They allow some people to jump the lines and stop others (they were not a person with special need at all). I waited for about 90 minutes to finally be on the boat.

If you're going to the Statue of Liberty, it's best to pre-order your ticket rather than waiting for day of. I wasn't paying attention when I ordered the tickets, but they also included Ellis Island. When ordering online, you pick the time you want to go to Statue of Liberty We didn't want to walk up all the steps to the crown so we only ordered tickets to the pedestal. I did will call tickets, remember you need your confirmation number to pick up your tickets. The buy day of line is really long and they might not have crown tickets available day of. Buying tickets ahead really made planning the visit easy. Will call line was pretty quick to pick up tickets. Then you go through security before boarding, so leave those bags with wheels, knives, and other things at home/hotel. Treat it like airport security.
