Station Plaza Coffee Shop and Diner

Had shied away from this place for a while and I'm sorry that I dead. Old school sit down diner that still feels like it's from back in the day in the best sense of the word. Great menu, fast, friendly service and they open at 5 a..m. for that early egg and cheese.

Never a bad meal here. My favorite for lunch is the Greek Salad with grilled chicken. Great breakfast, as well. Wait staff is friendly and the service is usually very prompt.

I came here for the first time this past summer on a Thursday morning. I thought the service was pretty good. Friendly and fast and the food came out hot. Now I don't know what Louis D. is talking about, because I had pancakes, two eggs, bacon (four strips), an English muffin, OJ (large) and tea. My friend (who suggested the place) had eggs, toast and coffee. The bill was $13 and change. I would tell Louis that if you saw you that you would be paying $10 for 2 eggs and coffee...you should have walked out. And if you actually paid it...the problem isn't the diner. It's you.

I will be a repeat customer. I live in Jamaica, but come out to Garden City often to shop at the Walmart on Old Country Road. Station Cafe is just ten minutes down the road heading east. Looking forward to my next visit.
