This was my first experience at a baseball game. I seized the opportunity and spent the summer evening with my daughter. Although we couldn't finish the game, she had fun watching the players running the bases. It is much cheaper than a Yankees game. There is the end of game fireworks -which we missed.

I had a good time at the ballpark. It's very affordable and if you get to the stadium by ferry you will enjoy some great views.

I took my family and paid for the special barbecue area with an all you can eat buffet. There was almost no food. The food that was there was cold. I had to go buy food at one of the concession stands and it took almost 40 minutes on the line - causing my son and I to miss a large portion of the game. My daughter wanted popcorn - that line took her and I another 15 minutes.
This is the third year we have went. First year it was great. Last time food was a little "skimpy," but there was enough. This year, like I said, I had to go buy more food because there just wasn't any.
Additionally, parking is almost impossible.

ABSOLUTE NEW YORK..........on a beautiful night, take the Staten Island Ferry and walk down the hill to the ballpark. Seats are inexpensive as is food. The view is gorgeous. Players are just fine and the people around you are, to a large extent, first responders and their families. It doesn't get better than this.
