Everyone in Dr. Deitch's office are efficient and caring, very, very helpful. The Dr. Himself is a top notch Vascular Surgeon, ranked among the best. I'm not sure if the reviews that were negative are legit, I had a pleasant experience.

Treat you like a revolving door. Wait is so long, understaffed, poor staff is stressed out patients piled against the wall. I will say a lot of good doctors work here but the administration is trying to do more with less and that isn't patient care.

Should not even be a hospital. Just go to Manhattan. Worth waiting longer... anything is better than here.
Reason: They said my dad would be discharged soon. They said that about a hour ago and nothing. All because the doctor forgot to note it down.
Update: 2 hours have passed still nothing...
Update: Another hour and nothing.
Update: Still waiting...
Update: You know what? We're leaving!

Horrible experience. I went in with a chest pain after visiting an MD clinic. 3 different people asked me questions. I had the same answers. Then after waiting in the entrance for 2 hours they had me sit in a chair crowded by a lot of other people. And a woman comes up to me to register me. Rude and when she asked me the same questions she said she would make up a time. No one did anything for me. And then when I asked to leave they said I will be charged for what they have done. They did nothing to make me feel comfortable. Or never made me better. They made me more sick and stressed out more In my situation. The only way you will ever get any help is if you have a bullet in your head.

MY 57 y. o. FATHER-IN-LAW DIED IN SIUH AFTER dr. WOHLER's CARDIOTHORACIC SURGERY!!! My father-in-law had aneurism but his aorta wasn't even in a critical condition!!! Instead of insisting on waiting and see how fast the aorta is dilating, Wohler scheduled the surgery!!!!!! And my FIL trusted him and it cost him his LIFE!!! He walked to the SIUH himself but his body had to be carried back from there!
Avoid this place at all cost!!! Wish we knew what greedy doctors work here before letting our loving husband, dad and grandpa to come to this place... May his soul rest in peace...
