Staten Island Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Had two wizdom teeth pulled. Heard a lot of bad stories, but the staff here made it fun and I'd come back to do it again. Lol, where else is getting your mouth ripped up fun? No where! Come here , you'll love it.

On July 29th, 2015 my 18 year old son had 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Lam. The procedure couldn't have gone any better! Dr. Lam was attentive, concerned and considerate of all of our concerns. She took the time to listen to and answer all of our questions. She spoke to my son and got to know him on a personal level, really putting us both at ease. She was also considerate and concerned with the extenuating circumstances for my son. She made herself available to us after the procedure if need be. The entire office staff was beyond helpful and professional. At the time, I was dealing with an insurance issue. They really understood and worked with me and followed up promptly with me every step of the way. Everyone in the office fully explained everything from care after the procedure to additional expenses not covered by my insurance. They even called the following evening to check up on my son! I also had an implant and tooth extraction done by Dr. Hoffman a few years ago and found the service just as wonderful then. That is why we returned without hesitation. I highly recommend the doctors and staff at this office. They truly have a way of making a difficult and painful process as smooth and painless as possible! Thank you everyone for taking such good care of my son and for working with us!!

A lesion in my husband's mouth caused me to shop for an oral surgeon. After many years as an RN on Staten Island at SIUH, I had no idea that Drs Hoffman and Stein had an office right on the grounds of the Hospital.
A co-worker referred us to this office. I was so pleasantly impressed with Dr Stein and his staff during the visit for the lesion that we inquired about dental implants procedure and cost. Unbelievable how affordable and efficient! What a delightful experience!
