Staten Island Dental Care - Dr. Frederick Hecht

I had a major emergency with my tooth. I was in tremendous pain, couldn't swallow without seeing stars and I could barley drink without having a ton of pain. Dr. Hecht and his staff were the only ones willing to help me at 5:30 at night. Every other office wanted nothing to do with my situation, they wouldn't even recommend anyone else to help me. The staff here was so nice and helpful with everything. The doctor actually fit me in as his last patient and basically waited for me to get there. I didn't have insurance and had to pay cash, they were very reasonable with this emergency visit. He is a very nice dentist, funny and would highly recommend anyone to see him. Best dentist visit I think I ever had!

Dr hecht and his staff are truly amazing I had horrible experiences with dentists in the past !!!!! Dr hecht is honest and trustworthy he lived up to everything he said he would do and how it would go I highly recommend dr. Hecht he lives up to his reviews and really cares !!!! I had a wonderful experience !!!!!!!

Dr. Hecht and his whole staff did an excellent job at making me feel at ease. It's been quite a while since my last dental visit so I went in expecting to need a lot of work done but Dr. Hecht was very honest with me. I made an appointment with Gary the hygienist the following week and she did a fantastic job with my cleaning. Everyone in the office is extremely nice and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked through the door. I highly recommend Dr. Hechts office to anyone in need of a dentist.

The best dental experience i can imagine! I cannot explain how much I disliked going to the dentist. For that reason,i put off going for over 20 years.before finally going to Dr. Hecht. My experience could not have been more pleasant! They were the most kind ,personable and professional dentistry personnel I have ever seen or could imagined.And the appointment times if you have a 1:00 appointment the latest your seen is 5 min wait .( i had many appointments). Dr. Hecht clearly explained the options in front of me and how much it would cost. When it came time for my extractions he eased my nervousness with nitrous gas ,then sedation.My experience could not have been better ,when i regained consciousness i had no pain and no memory of the procedure!. I never heard of any business going to those lenghts to make their patient comfortable and they definetly succeeded! I would rate Dr. Hecht and his personnel higher than a 5 star if it were possible and do not dread my next appointment! Well Done! Sincerely , Susan Kamran

After breaking a tooth due to neglect, I looked for a local dentist on Staten Island that offered sedation. Breaking that tooth was actually a blessing in disguise as I found Dr. Hecht. Dr. Hecht and his entire staff are truly wonderful. Dr. Hecht is patient and kind, offers great explanations about procedures and also offers alternatives while explaining the pros and cons of each. Dr. Hecht's staff is just as kind and patient as he is. They are always very accommodating and pleasant. Having found this type of practice, I now make and keep regularly scheduled appointments and have great checkups with little or no work required beyond routine cleanings.
