My husband and I found a little Kitty well, she actually came running to us and immediately thought she was hungry and we were right she ate two cans of cat food in a minute. It was late and we could not find a shelter open so we decided to keep her in our bathroom since we have a cat of our own and interaction between them would put our cat in danger since did not know if she was sick or not. We gave her a lot of water and food and a blankie .
We found her Friday night by Sunday we decided to take her to the Staten Island Shelter since is near our home. We were so nervous because when I hear Shelter I think death. I was totally wrong. I was so sad to leave the little cat in a shelter and I met Jonny an amazing person that took care of our found kitty
He is so kind and gentle and he assured us that she will be taking care of , he said that is unlikely for them to put animals down ,that made me feel a little bit of relief, he was so kind to the kitty he checked her and he made us signed a paper and he said that he would inform us about her and that we could go after that. I felt by leaving her that I was doing the biggest sin I ever made in my life. I left with my heart broken in thousand pieces. The next day my husband called and Jonny gave us wonderful news that the kitty may be pregnant. Jonny is so amazing he explained to me the whole procedure when kitty's are pregnant which is taking the kitty for a less stressful environment so she could have her babies peacefully. I am extremely relief to know that this is the process for this beautiful animals. Than I told Jonny If I could adopt the kitty back, he said yes but I must go thru the procedure and that would be after the kitty have her babies. This Shelter is amazing, Jonny is amazing. He is more than kind to us and to our kitty. Thank You Jonny for doing this hard experience a much better one. And thank you for loving animals like you do.
