Star Golden Nail

Beware!!! This nails salon seems to overcharge unsuspecting customers, and they routinely charge extra for basic nail treatments (like filing your nails into a shape or using nail polishes). I walked in and asked the person at the front desk (who seemed to be in charge) about the different wraps I could get on my long, rounded, natural nails. She tried to get me to pay for a wrap removal when I only had regular nail polish on my nails. Then, she kept changing the prices of services I asked about, and gave me several different overpriced prices on the same services. When I looked at the pricing menu on the wall, she finally gave me the right price (according to what was listed on the wall). During my service, my technician told me that I could get a simple design (on two nails only) for free with the acrylic set I was getting, but when it was time to do the design, the same lady in charge told be I would have to pay extra for any design. She then had the nerve to tell me that I should have paid an extra three dollars for getting a rounded nail shape, even though my nails had already been filed in that same rounded shape when I first walked in. I also noticed they have a minimal selection of crappy, dried out polishes for customer use, but have Essie nail polishes stored in a closed bin. when I asked, they told me they charge customers extra for using Essie polish. If you want to do your nails here, just be warned that everything (even the basics that every nail salon offers) will be extra. You could do better than this place.
