Never pick up the phone and then complaining for not calling. And then I have to wait to get my car. Same thing almost every day, but only when one of the guys working. Others pick up the phone.

Can't complain. It was close to where I needed to be. It's valet parking and there is an annoying alarm that goes off when you drive in or walk. Don't get startled!

Look - between alternate side parking, closures for 'play streets' in the summer, dumpsters from construction, etc., we all know that parking in Hamilton Heights is rough. So you do what you gotta do. But I will say that this place sucks. They're rude; they lie about the price (was quoted the 12 hour rate for 14 hours when dropping off and then when picking up the attendant insisted it was the 24 hour price, despite what the guy at night had said), and their credit card machine is 'out of order' so they only accept cash. Closest ATM is 1.5 blocks away. Shady and rude. Pick another garage unless you can't avoid it.

The other comment in here talks about a month parking pass. I would never have need of one. I only ever pay for my car to be housed for an evening and the rate cannot be beaten. $20. And less, of course, if you need a place to put your vehicle for a few hours.
I live in upstate New York and I have friends in Harlem that I visit. This is the parking garage that I always use (at least half a dozen times) and I have never had any trouble with them.
I would recommend it solely if you needed a place to keep your car for an evening. The other review mentions long term parking and I cannot say anything about that.

Yes, they are cheap for a parking garage in Manhattan, but they have the WORST customer service in history. I bought a month parking pass and the attendants did not ONCE give me a hard time for getting my car to drive when I needed it. Each time, they would condemn me and tell me, "Oh you bought a month parking pass." Meaning they only wanted me to take my car out once or in the weekends. Well, unfortunately, sometimes life happens and you have last minute appointments! Every time I needed to get my car, I always heard unwanted, disrespectful comments from the attendants. It seemed like the guys working there were PMS-ing or they just really hated their jobs so they took it out on the customers. It was horrible. I wanted to get a refund on the monthly pass each time, but since I had paid in cash, I thought it was impossible.
My recommendation: GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE! Even if you have to pay a little extra. Dealing with these guys is not worth the heartache you will experience. The owners should highly consider getting new employees. If I owned it, I would FIRE them immediately.
