St Peter's give Church a bad name. Yesterday, Mother's Day, my mother and my niece's car were booted. Each had to pay $70. My niece is a struggling single mother. And my mother spends her days volunteering for local hospitals in Ossining & Valhalla. Plus she is an official volunteer for the Westchester County Correctional Facility. She brings the message of God to immates. She along with my father (retirees) volunteer with the help of their Priest. I went in St Peter's Church humbly to speak to the Spanish Speaking Reverend. We pleaded mercy but he accused us of lying and threw us out of church. My sister who lives in CT & has lived in Port Chester for many years has attended this Church on occasions but imagine how disgusted we were. What message is this Church giving? We are also Hispanics and very sad to see & witness in person how a Reverend could act in such a selfish way. His man saw us living the parking lot, couldn't he have warned us? Let's not forget, it was Mother's Day. Myself and all my sisters & nieces are Mothers! Unbelievable experience!
