St. Mark's Inn

I was in New York for seven months and would not have been able to stay as long as I did without staying here. The owner went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. I had a good experience.

I. Allen simple to ask a couple of questions it does say an inn and student and extended stay, why put a number Then let it ring 12 times the customer ask a question and you just hang up.. really if you require 6 month minimum then should say so, that how you up sell and get people to stay... horrible customer experience

The lady that I spoke with was horrible. I asked about booking a few employees for 5 weeks. I thought that would be fine because the minimum stay was 30 days according to the website but she informed me that the minimum stay was 6 months! I told her that she should probably say that on her website as it was misleading. Then she screamed at me saying, "Don't counsel me!"

I'm not sure what the last review is talking about. I was in New York about five months ago and stayed at St Marks Inn. I had a really good experience. The location is good. The manager treated me fine. I will probably stay there again in the Spring.

Very good place to stay and will do so again when in the New York area for an extended length of time. Rooms are very large, clean and well maintained. House is nice. Very authentic New York experience. Very good value for the $$$. Sounds like someone had a communication issue (from reading other post). We have had no problem communicating with the owner/manager and have appreciated the ambience when staying in this house.
