St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center

Terrible experience! Stay far away from this place. Everyone is extremely rude even when you show them nothing but respect and comply with rules. They just talk down on you and show no compassion for concerned relatives.

St. Josephs isn’t in the best part of town, but the care here, especially for children is excellent. During a scare with our 1 month old, the emergency room staff were excellent and comforting. However, the pediatric staff made us appreciate how good the ER had been. We got conflicting reports often and a lack of information even more often. Everything worked out well, but it was frustrating during the time. Their care is really top notch though.

Go here if u want to die in the waiting area. They dont even have vending machines in this hospital. I dont know how this place didnt get shut down yet. What doctor would want to work here? This is a disgrace to the medical field.

FANTASTIC NURSES! Yet this hospital is all about $! It's in a poverty stricken town but they want you to pay to park 5$ a hour, 6$ for A DAY for TV, & 7$ A DAY if they want to call you! It's crazy! Don't the medical bills pay enough! What if you don't have $! You can't go see a family member who's sick?! CRAZY JUST CRAZY

If I can give this hospital 0 stars I will.. I was born in st Joseph and my son was born there in 2011 the pediatric day nurse Peggy or Shana was my son nurse when he was in the nicu
It was a nurse during that shift that day ( forgot the name of the rude nurse ) I called every hour at night to make sure my baby was ok so at that point I heard him crying I ask what's wrong she got sarcastic and said you want me to ask him .....pump your breaks who are you talking to.. I made a visit that night staples and all I had just gotten released that day from and to leave my baby behind was heart wrenching
So NOW I called relatives to bring me to the hospital no one would my mom called the supervisor to explain what happen I said within that day the rude nurse called back and apologize
Oct 11 I was in the pediatric icu with my son for his second surgery I can agree with one of the reviews you are sharing a room with others which I wasn't found of however the other parent and I was very supportive of each other
However another case came in around 2 that morning lights popping on child just hollering

The last and final surgery was DeCember 2011 it amazes me how the whole entire hospital they didn't have colostomy bag
The box I had wasn't good it wasn't sticking so that morning he finally was in surgery he wasn't schedule afternoon to see your baby hungry tore me to pieces I demanded to see the surgeon I said my not holding out until afternoon or I'm giving him milk . He said listen he can have milk till midnight but the rest Pedialyte ok no problem I fed him milk until one and Pedialyte until 6 since his surgery was 9
He did well no complications at all
