Have been going here for 2 years. Excellent service. Excellent price. Knows you by name, and treats you like family. George will not let you pay for something that is not of exceptional quality.

I had used their services once with a small item a while ago and was satisfied, but recently I had my work stuff cleaned by them, but took a couple days to dry clean it. I was upset about it, but I'm willing to give them another chance for better service. Great location and friendly staff...

Always great friendly service. I wear suits every day they do great both in dry cleaning my suits as well as laundering my shirts.

This I'll say, the staff is extremely friendly. Aside from that, the actual service is horrendous. Do not take your clothes there.

I've dropped off suits, a very expensive light colored wool coat and multiple pants and ties. Judging by the reviews, I thought they would be taken care of...I was wrong.
The wool coat came back with obvious burn marks, my pants had spots that never existed when I dropped them off and few of my silk ties were completely ruined. My suit jacket was not ironed properly and had few strings coming out of it now. This was probably the worst dry cleaning service I've ever seen.

In conclusion: I do not advise anyone to take their clothes there.

Having moved not too long ago to Journal Square--and not being that saavy when it comes to dry cleaning to begin with--I was leery of using a place nearby for dry cleaning. After reading the reviews here though, I decided to to try them out anyway. As others have noted, St. John's is owned by a nice old man named George who has been in the business for a very long time. He's a very nice guy, and let me in early even though the store technically wasn't open yet.

Although it was ready technically a day after when I wanted it, they did a great job with the blaser I gave them. I also recall the price being very fair. I was in and out both visits in like than 2 minutes with no wait. The only gripe I have is that I wish they had longer hours, as I get home past 8 most nights. Regardless, St. John's as a reliable dry cleaning option in this area, and I will continue to use them.
