EXCELLENT !!!
I HAD A MEMORIAL PARTY CATERED BY SPUMANTE AND EVERYTHING WAS DELIOUS....
THE RESTAURANT IS CLEAN, QUITE, HOME, WELCOMING..
THE FOOD IS HOME MADE AND ALWAYS EXCELLENT FROM THE APPY'S TO DESERT MADE BY TINA.
PLEASE GO AND TRY FOR YOUR SELF.
OH DID I MENTION VERY AFFORDABLE.
OH DID I MENTION THEY HAVE PSYCHIC NIGHT FOR $55.00...

I never write bad reviews but I thought the eating out public should be made aware of what I encountered this afternoon. I received a $25 gift certificate, generously donated to Long Island Blood Center by Spumante, when I gave blood earlier this month. On the front of the certificate was written "no strings attached." I am unable to go to restaurants because my husband is ill so I called Spumante to order a "to go" order to use my certificate. I was told by the manager/owner that they will only accept the certificate for "dine in" and the owner/manager was extremely uncompassionate in refusing to honor my request for take out. He actually told me if my husband can't go to restaurants I should come with someone else! I will never patronize this restaurant and urge anyone with any heart to do the same. What good is a donation of gift certificates to the Blood Center - encouraging people to donate a pint of blood - trying to do a nice thing, when you are going to act like a stubborn... more >
