Sovereign Bank

Excellent.

DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION! Normally i go to the one in astoria but because this location was closer at the time, i had to drop by real quickly for an emergency transaction. I went in about 20 min to closing time, there were no lines and the place looked empty so i'm thinking GREAT. pop in and out. I made a deposit in CASH with a teller and asked if the funds were readily available and she said 'yes' ... that was fri. i checked online to see if the transaction was even pending because i'm using billpay and the debit date is near. Nothing showed up on my acct as if i never went into the bank... i called customer service to notify them and they said i would be reimbursed any late fees/ penalty fees if i did get any... that was sunday. Today is monday and nothing has happened so far.. I'm forced to make another deposit just because i don't want to keep looking for sovereign to have them reimburse any penalty/late fees i may be charged by the bank and the payee. If i have to worry about every cash deposit i make at every bank i bank at, i rather keep my money underneath my mattress. Never going into this branch again!!!
