I received a Sharper image bluetooth headset for christmas and it stopped working after using it 1 time. I called their support number and told the support person what had happened. He instructed me to ship it them UPS and that I pay for the shipping. It cost me 17 dollars and they received the headphones on Jan 22nd. I have received 2 emails so far stating they are closing my ticket due to them not receiving my item. I have called several times and gave them the tracking # and they found it and see it was delivered to them over a month ago. They have known this for over 3 weeks now as I called immediately as I am skeptical about their business practices. Just got off the phone with one the reps (seemed ok) but he can not commit as to when I should see my fixed or replaced unit. My advice to anyone is not to purchase anything that Southern Telecom supports. If I do not see my item come back to me - I am reporting them to the Better Businness Bureua and the the Attorney General as from reviews I see and pure lack of business ethics I have experienced.

My headphone SHP1000 stopped working after about 2 months, the quality of the product is very poor and the customer service is pathetic. They keep saying that they will escalate the issue but nothing happens. Its been over 2 months since i placed the replacement order but till now nothing turned up.
Please do not waste money on any of their products.

So I got my EM749 Emerson Tablet around christmas of 2014 and a month later, I was in the middle of charging it when it was about to die and then it stopped charging so I had to wiggle my charger around so maybe it would work so I stopped using my tablet then a couple of days later , it couldnt turn on at ALL and I couldn't charge it either! bunch of scammers, although they keep telling me to send it back with a warranty but i didnt want to waste my time with it so don't waste your time with this garbage
I would get a better tablet from a BETTER company like samsung or lenovo

Bought a Polaroid A7x Tablet manufactured and warrantied through them for Xmas 2014. Within three days it stopped charging. Contacted Southern Telecom about the issue and was told it is probably a hardware issue but they would send me a new charger first, although I informed them that every other charger I used would not work either. Today (3 weeks later) I got the new charger in a hand written envelope with no return address or invoice. Opened it and it was an HP USB charger, that does not fit the Polaroid tablet charging port. Contacted Southern Telecom again. I was told that the HP charger was compatible and it should not be an issue and if it was I would have to send pictures and video that proved it would not fit into charging port correctly. If I send in pictures they would again send me a new charger. Ridiculous service and warranty company. If I need replacement parts or warranty service I expect the parts and service for the device I purchased! I will never purchase or recommend products from this company! They are sketchy and obviously not a reputable company.

This is absolutely the WORSE company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. I have spent over a month trying to get replacements of the Bluetooth headsets I ordered from them that were all defective. Shipped them back and now they can't find the package even though I have the USPS confirmation of delivery. I call and get "Peter Smith" in India. Their number in Brooklyn just rings no one answers. Horrible experience and I'm out my money. And Groupon does nothing to help with this.
