The only thing I can remember from my time in New York is the Southern Fountain of Madison Square Park, a delightful little water voice surrounded by trees and benches. A human being should be careful in the vicinity of the fountain. In the vicinity of the fountain, the cracks in the mind let through more sentiment. If you had wandered through Madison Square Park 120 years ago, you would have found a Victorian fountain. The current fountain is based on the design of the vanished Victorian fountain, just as that fountain had been based on the designs of fountains from destroyed British cities. Telephone is a game in which words are communicated with small iterative changes. It appears that fountains can also pass through cities according to similar principles. To echo the words of a past reviewer, I wish I could see a small dog run past the fountain.

What a nice surprise in Bryant Park is this fountain with running water and children playing and getting wet on a hot summer day. Next to this fountain is a nice playground for the little ones to race around and enjoy slides and safe rides. Cute sign to welcome all but beware you can only enter if you bring a child.
I would like to see a dog run as well.
