One of the best meals I had in NYC , and it was only a quick lunch. Had cauliflower rice with shredded beef and roast veg. Would have eaten here everyday if we were closer to Greenwich village.

I came with 3 friends last week to STJ because I saw it in Time Out - specifically to try curry burgers.

We had all four curry burgers - paneer, veggie, chicken and salmon.

The flavor was crazy delish!!! And how they get it to hold is a magic. Love love love it.

Now we all have a big appetite and decided to eat some more.

So we got two bowls to share. One with this thing called Cauliflower rice - it is cauliflower not rice - with chicken tikka. The other was the more traditional rice, chickpeas and saag paneer.

The server gave us 6 toppings on the side to try - love the staff!

Ok the Saag paneer and Chicken tikka were absolutely amazing.

The cauliflower rice was new for us. Loved it!!

Whenever in this neighborhood we will be hitting up STJ.

The concept is cool . . Much like Indikitch . . Its basically Chipotle for Indian food. What I find a little lacking was the flavor in food. I had sag paneer and found the paneer too chewy.

Fun menu for casual Indian fare! Reminds me a little of a Chipotle but with Indian food. You can get a nice lunch bowl of chicken Tikka Masala with chick peas veggies sauce and rice. Good flavors, spacey dining area and great prices.

Good selection of healthy vegetarian and vegan food. Chipotle-style Indian place. Small bowls are less than $7 and filling. Very satisfied.
