Fun, frequently very crowded. Pricey for what it is, but love being able to try a huge variety of foods. Foods I have had are mostly good, with just a few duds. Can get very hot in the summer with little shade immediately available.

It is true that New Yorkers can be lazy to go "too far" (next borough) to have good food so flood review sites with smashing reviews for mediocre places that are near them. I have been a victim of that blasphemy as well. Thankfully the Smorgasburgs have been fixing that problem, one venue at a time. This moved from the Brooklyn Bridge Park but still looking at a lake filled with algae can be nice too I guess...trees help surely.
Everyone can now try the reinvented Indian breads of Goa Tacos, smoked out meats presented most stylishly from Carnal, the big cheese sticks from Big Mozz, Caribbean delights at Island Tingz and plenty of lemonade from almost everyone. Oh, this might be a good place to finally see and be disappointed by and get over the hype of ramen burgers, Porchetta or even Mofongo. Being in a distinguished crowd of some actually good and lip-smacking flavorful food is an eye-opening equalizer.

Great opportunity to check out the local cuisine in Brooklyn. The vendors offer a big variety of ethnic cuisine. If you were ever curious about ethnic foods, this is the place to smell and try. The culinary offerings are just abundant. The Ramen Burgers were a must and they were right on target. Great place to escape to in Prospect Park. Great for the locals to escape the high prices of Manhattan.
