When I was told to get a sleep study, I was a bit nervous and had a lot of questions. I did not want to go a hospital based lab as I do not like the hospital smells etc. I did some research, spoke a friend of mine who had a sleep study before and was given this name. I decided to give it a try. On the day of my study, I was told to arrive at 8:30 but I got a bit delayed and got there by 9:15. I was pleasantly surprised at the down to earth attitude of the staff despite me coming late. The facility seemed very spacious, has about 5 or 6 beds with an attached bath room and a shower. They tech was very friendly, took about half hour to hook up a few wires and was told to sleep. I watched TV for about half hour and went to sleep. The rooms and the beds were clean. I told them to wake me up early at 5:00 as I have to go work at 7:00 which they did. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
