The place is decent, needs better cleaning and a lot of the people hang out in front and feels unsafe

The Forbell Homeless Shelter is placing men in this building with City vochers and not providing any support or services. Before you book ask if there are any homeless being vochered in the building at the time.

This hotel is a great value in NYC. This is much, much, much better than hotels of the same rate in Manhattan. The coffee maker in the room was hard to use and complicated. Better instructions are needed for it. I also thought the front desk staff was unfriendly but they weren't mean. The staff at breakfast were very kind and welcoming. This hotel is clean, quiet and in a safe neighborhood. There's free wifi and breakfast. The subway station isn't far either. This is a great choice when traveling to NYC. I'll likely stay here again.

This Hotel, the Sleep Inn has turn itself into a Men's Homeless shelter. The men are not only homeless, most of them are drug addicts and they are walking around and nodding and falling on the ground. Some are creepy and very scary, the ambulance took one who passed out in the middle of the street the other day, also the police arrested a few. This Hotel is located on 49th street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue Brooklyn NY. The Hotel is getting about 3500 a month for each of them, so they are slowly filling the place up and these men need supervision and more help than just being removed and thrown across town to run the streets in another neighborhood, now ours. So now they sit in the parks with the children, near the bathrooms. SMH Be very careful if renting and you are in the hallways.
