It was nice. Bouncer was really cool and waitress food was great and service was on point. Only thing that bothered me was that we were rushed to order by the waitress. Other than that this place was truly exceptional and I recommend coming here for any social gathering. And one other thing it was absolutely freezing! A nice heater outside to view the city would be nice. Thanks will come back soon!

The view is amazing . I loved the interior design of the place as well . It reminds me of the architectural firm I worked at my (MAD Architects). The security and coat room staff was super nice . However , I left the place humiliated and in tears . I came to New York to replace and apply for an emergency travel doc , because I needed to be on urgent medical leave from the Country . After a day of dealing with the embassy, I felt like sky room would be a nice place to relax with my bf on our last day in the city. He wanted to drink , I couldn't because I was on medication , but that's why sky room would have been perfect because I get to enjoy the view . We picked a place close to the window on the first floor and waited for someone to help us , 20 minutes and no one showed up . The place was pretty empty . My bf just went to the bar tender instead and tried to order. We wanted appetizers but were told by her that the kitchen was closed . We were cool with it , he just ordered drinks and decided to switch to a spot next to the stairs. Then I immediately noticed people sitting next to us were all still served food . So I asked the girl at the center desk of the floor if the kitchen was still open. She said it was and explained that the bartender didn't know . It's a relatively small room and was half empty at the time so I felt like maybe more communication between the staff could've been helpful? Then when I asked to order, the girl kindly asked a waitress to help us and reminded us that kitchen was closing in 15 minutes . The waitress came mentioned kitchen was closing in 15. Only gave my bf about 5 seconds to look at the menu, and kept pushing and saying the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes .I knew we needed to order quickly , but rushing us when we barely had a chance to think isn't helpful either right ? Then when I gave her my card to pay , she wanted to check my ID and gave a strange face when I passed it to her. It's a lounge club so people r ID'd before they even enter . I asked my bf and he wasn't checked for an ID when he ordered drinks from the bar earlier. And I didn't see the group of (white) girls next to us being checked for an ID . Why me ? Hmm I started wondering if I really looked that untrustworthy . We waited for our food , the waitress came back to grab the check book but I was still making important contacts on my phone ( time difference embassy problems ), whilst clearing off our table by myself at the same time , so I asked her to wait . I guess I forgot that at lounge clubs you're actually supposed to immediately sign the receipt and hand it back to the waitress even if the menus are still stacked on the table and food isn't there yet . I wrote down my experience on the there and explained how things needed to be improved . But I still gave the largest Tip suggested. Because I really don't mean to be rude and I know it's hard working night shifts . However I noticed that our waitress highlighted the suggested tip suggestions , I thought that was unnecessary at the time since I have eyes and I was obviously sober .Before I left , I decided to let the manager know things could be improved in the above areas . I didn't really get to drink anything because Ive been on heavy pain meds for 2 months now (not good to mix with alcohol) . The manager, Stephanie , I believe explained that I chose the worst place to be served in the room and refuted anything I mentioned . Then she hinted "just saying maybe you had some drinks ..." When I stopped her and told her I'm actually sick with (XX) and can't drink . She said " my best friend has that too , she still drinks , you can still drink " . I asked what she meant , accusing that I'm lying ? She says " no but sometimes people who lie project that on others " I was calm and just trying to address the issue before . But that really just did it . I hope someday she goes through exactly what I've been through and has a convenient surgery leaving her barren. :) I really think some of the staff needs to be trained better . Service needs to improve

Definitely DO NOT GO HERE! Bouncers are extremely rude and have no class. Drinks are weak and very expensive. The reviews say it all about this place. Plenty of other venues to take your business in NYC. The management needs to fix this problem as there is zero customer service. They act like its a high class place, but poor service, untrained bouncers, this place is a no go.

Avoid at all costs. No sense of customer service or class for that matter. Purchased tickets for a Halloween Event and waited over an hour to get close to the door. The bouncers were less than helpful in giving any information on how to get in. The only thing they would let us know is how much they would pocket ($30-$50) for you to be put in the "VIP" line which stopped moving also. The management should really look into the ticket sales process and make sure they're getting a cut of the racket the bouncers downstairs are running. Congrats on the slime that run this company on taking my $20

Came here for an alumni event on a Thursday night.
Staff: Not exactly warm or welcoming. We thanked the bouncer and wished him a good night and he didn't acknowledge us.
Food: we had burger sliders, charcuterie board, antipasto board, chicken skewers and chips with 3 dips - guac, salsa and Greek yogurt cucumber sauce. Food was decent but nothing impressive.
Space: it's a prime location right off Times Sq. Offers amazing views and is a great venue to host an event. Now to the con - I'm not a huge fan of frosted bathroom doors, they don't make sense to me.
Note: I'm not sure if it's a hotel policy but they offer "complimentary coat check" this is in quotes because you have to pay a mandatory tip lol
I probably wouldn't come back unless there was another free event
