Hugh is the man, straight up. I've never found a more honest, sincere, and easy going mechanic in my life. I was referred to Hugh by a mech in Brooklyn who wasn't working on Triumphs as much anymore. Hugh helped me out with my 1978 Tiger, and the bike is running amazingly. He won't rip you off, he won't suggest work that doesn't need to be done, and he won't bull#*t you. He even discouraged me from some repairs I was suggesting, showing me why it wasn't necessary for me to spend the money. As I was getting ready to leave, my bike was running a little rough (had been sitting for a week at the shop while I was out of town), and Hugh and one of his mechanics adjusted the timing right there in the street, and wouldn't accept the additional money I offered him! He loves old Triumphs, and it shows. As long as I own a Triumph, I'm taking it to Sixth Street Specials.

Hugh is the most honest, reliable and trustworthy mechanic I have ever been to. In my 20 plus years of riding motorcycles I seen a lot of them. Hugh is a real bike lover. He is not a dealer, so he has nothing to sell to you, prices are super reasonable and he is fast. I'm sticking with Hugh until one of us can't do it any more!!!!!
