Horrible customer service. They lied to me about my card being credited for wrong charges. I heard 3 different stories from 3 different people. They make it very difficulthe to contact via phone.
They don't care. Don't use!

WORST SERVICE IVE EVER SEEN. My family and I were on our way home from Michigan (DTW) airport and the girl driving us (7 people) was TEXTING the whole 5 minute drive until we pulled up to the terminal. She was very unhelpful and my aunt fell getting into the vehicle. The wonderful man who drove us to the airport was helpful as we were traveling with 3, 75 and older, adults and had a stool from them. The woman however sat on her phone the whole time until everyone was ready. Slammed the doors shut and texted the whole way there. Have a picture to prove it. I want her terminated!!

I found a deal through Hotwire with SIXT Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport location. I originally rented an SUV but when I arrived they only had one available: a Jeep Compass. It was far from adequate and didn't seem very SUV-like as my father's new Camry seemed higher off the ground and more durable than this alleged sports utility vehicle. It was the basic model of all models and didn't even have a USB port. When I asked for another car, the counter assistant insisted that they did not have another car in that class (whatever happened to options?) and that she could downgrade me to an Elantra that came with a USB port but I would have to pay the same amount. (She also insisted that she had no control over pricing and could not provide me with a credit.) When I asked to speak to a manager, there was no one available on site. Finally, the counter assistant called her manager Melina's cell phone. Melina answered and instructed the counter girl to have me email her and that she would consider giving me a credit if I downgraded but that there were no guarantees. THIS is what SIXT calls customer service? I ended up having to pay more to upgrade (as opposed to the same price for a downgrade) and it was truly an awful experience. SIXT has no car options, counter assistants that aren't empowered to make customer service decisions, no management on site, and poor management. P.S. SIXT charges a $250 deposit (hold) on your account while you are renting the car and if you bring it back without a full tank, they'll charge $8 per gallon. ALAMO and Dollar Rent A Car are far better options at the Atlanta airport, better cars, more cars, better service and prices.

Rent with extreme caution! Caution should be taken using the Fort Lauderdale office! To begin with, you may have difficulty understanding the poor English spoken! The car we were given (VW Jetta) had about 10 or 12 different scratches and dents, on the bumpers hood and sides! So, when we checked it out it appeared that all scratches and dented were recorded and accounted for. We were told at check-out the scratches on the hood were "only dirt" and not necessary to note. However, when we returned home I found an email stating that the scratches were below the surface and we were liable! There were three witness to this and are currently waiting to hear how this will all turn out! I have not interest in returning to this deceitful outlet!

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THIS IS MY GO TO SPOT WHEN IN NEED OF A LAST MINUTE CAR RENTAL. NELSON IS PHENOMENAL AT HIS POSITION. DEF RECOMMEND SIXT WEEHAWKEN. THEY ARE FANTASTIC.
