I used this company on the recommendation of a friend. There are so many moving companies out there and I wanted someone whom I could trust. I was a bit skeptical when I read some of the online reviews; however, the company is under new management and I felt I could trust my friend who had a positive experience with them. Shan and his associate came to my house and assessed how much we had and what size truck we would need. The price quoted was fair and comparable to other quotes I had received. We had a large three story house with an antique vanity table and piano along with a lot of heavy furniture. HIs team expertly disassembled and reassembled our furniture (even better than the original condition). They were professional, careful and very courteous. None of our items were damaged and they were careful not to scratch our new dark wooden floors. It was a difficult moving condition with a very steep driveway and snow and ice. I highly recommend Silver Star. Hopefully, I won't be moving again for a long time, but when I do, I'll use them again.
