Silver music is a wonderful music school. Ellen Silver and her excellent teachers have developed a child appropriate music curriculum through both their introductory classes and Suzuki lessons. When studying an instrument, the children are required to take both individual and group lessons, which strengthen their interest, skills, and commitment to their instrument. The teachers are firm but fun, and know how to be both gentle and appropriately demanding of their students. I highly recommend this program.

Silver Music is an wonderful music school. My son (age 10) has been taking violin lessons at Silver Music for three years. Every week he takes a private lesson and a group lesson. I am amazed at the progress he has made. The teachers are professional, patient, creative and well versed in the Suzuki method. The school creates a real community through its annual concerts and my son has made good friends with the other students. I took violin myself as a kid and I am convinced my son will learn far more than I did! I highly recommend Silver Music!

Both my children took early instrumental lessons here, and learned WAY more than I expected!! As a professional musician, I value the supportive, flexible approach, which adapts the materials to each individual student, maximizing both pleasure and success. Really, some of the best teaching I have ever seen!
