SiFirst Child Day Care Center, Inc.

This place lost its daycare license in August 2010 due to 27 violations. They persisted in remaining open even after they were shut down. How did they do this? They started accepting toddlers into the basements of 83 McClean Avenue and 85 McClean Avenue, Staten Island, in order to fool the inspectors. They then used untrained daycare workers who were not background checked in order to make more profit. How do I know this? I used this daycare for the past two years. Sue was the only good worker and she has left. Beware this daycare. Even after losing their license, they charge $1050 a month for full time daycare and don't serve food. Smiles around us on Sand Lane only charges $850 a month. The owners are money hungry, dishonest people. I am furious that they took my money and endangered my child. On several occasions, my child was left with a blond russian woman who I later learned was not background checked. There was no supervision of this woman. The owner hid his violations from the parents because he did not list his facility name (sifirst child care) on the New York State Office of Children and Family Services website, which lists the name of the license holder, the owner just listed his personal name "Baydere, Hakan" so that the licence violations would not be connected with the daycare itself, to the casual parent looking up the facility on the government website. this man should be locked up for the fraud he is. these people are nothing but Money Hungry Criminals and I hope the inspectors nail them for their fraudulent illegal activities.
